Taking the time to reinvent myself with photography here are some of the works I made using visual technique with a DSLR camera and some skills using Adobe Photoshop to help me in my course to creating a photo heavy cookbook. The top left, is a almost daydream like state I would be in with my storytelling of how I see myself as an eldest daughter in my desi indian family household with a picture of a artwork displayed all across as though underwater looking at art at the bottom seafloor level using items in my household and family.

I enjoy a lot of food photography where I tried to recreate James Oliver’s butternut squash fritters high in protein with cottage cheese and parmesan taken a picture with my DSLR and further enhanced visually for its food appeal. Including one of my takes (NOT final) of my autobiography picture for my cookbooks in the future sharing my love for food culture with my variable complexities of allergens and dietary restrictions as an IBS and diabetic type 2 patient living in a desi household showing recipes like shakshuka, upma, and other healthy and comfort foods I enjoy savoring as a “chef” in the house.
